Wooden sheets for floorboarding seen been taken into Valley Mills, it appears this is only acceptable if the property is compartmentalised correctly and or sprinklered. hardly the flooring for a prestige development, Kirklees Building Control have been informed on behalf of local residents.

Trees being removed and damaged on site, the mill is in a conservation area and they must have permission, on checking the planning website there was no such permission applied for. Kirklees Planning have been informed and a complaint issued on behalf of local residents.

Online sales information issued by Virtu Homes stated that 34 apartments are to be made, this is 12 more than PJ Livesey had planning permission for in 2009, on checking no further application has been made. Kirklees planning have been informed and a complaint issued on behalf of local residents.
